Midwest Aviation was founded in 1985 with a commitment to service through a stand-alone aircraft sales organization. Expansion began in the early 1990's with the addition of maintenance, fueling, flight instruction, and FAA Part 135 charter. Midwest's current complex provides our staff and customers with 44,000 square feet of office/technical service areas. The fixed base operation's 8 departments serve the aviation community 24 hours per day, and 365 days per year. Line and Customer Service personnel greet an average of 21,000 pilots/passengers, load 225 tons of cargo, and service 10,000 airplanes annually. Midwest Aviation offers a fleet of charter aircraft maintained to FAA Part 135 standards. The pilots who support the charter operation receive FAA certification annually. Midwest Aviation's aircraft along with a vast network of aircraft available throughout the U.S. allows the charter operation to move any number of passengers or freight to any destination at a moment's notice. Maintenance offers support to the scheduled airlines and the general aviation community. Our staff of trained professionals provides the highest quality service on aircraft ranging from piston singles to corporate jets. Avionics completes the true definition of "Fixed Base Operation." New avionics installations are completed to manufacturer standards, and with the only state-of-the-art computer based diagnostic center in the region, technicians are capable of troubleshooting and repairing most avionics equipment.
